First Annual “Cold Shabbat” Review

About 45 people, including a number of families with Religious School children, came out to Sha’are Shalom’s first annual Cold Shabbat.  There was plenty of singing and plenty of good food, as everyone enjoyed a BBQ chicken dinner before the service. The ice cream after the service was great, too.

Everyone also enjoyed celebrating Jasha’s 40th birthday and having birthday cake with their ice cream.  The Sha’are Shalom Men’s Singers (was that singing?) did their best with a parody for Jasha.

Many thanks for this super event go to George Gazarek for planning the evening and making it a reality.  Thanks to Josh Mesh for ordering and donating the two beautiful birthday cakes.  Thanks to Jasha for leading the fun-filled service.

We are looking forward to next year
