The place once again is Gilbert Run Park, South Bridge Pavilion, 13140 Charles Street, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. Gilbert Run Park is located 8 miles east of La Plata on Route 6. This scenic wooded parkland has hiking trails, picnic areas with grills and tables, picnic pavilions, playgrounds, and fishing piers. The lake affords fishing, pedal boating, row boating and canoeing.
