Hello to Everyone, October has been a busy month for our shul and it is a great feeling. We had quilting classes for making beautiful wall hangings soon to be on our walls. We also have had first time leaders for services and they are doing a great job. I led my first service on Sept. 24th. It was my way of celebrating my birthday and becoming President of Sha’are Shalom. I have to say it wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. I am hoping more members will try this, even our students who have had their Bar/Bat mitzvah.
I’m also looking forward to seeing all of you at our membership meeting on Nov 13. We’ll talk about where we’ve been and where we are headed as a congregation.
