Jewish Folk Art Festival
November 14-21
The Mid-Atlantic’s largest celebration of Jewish art, music, and culture returns in 2010 to the Greater Washington area November 14-21, and will feature an opening concert, weekday events throughout the region, and the Festival on Nov 21.
The Festival will take place at the JCC of Greater Washington, 6125 Montrose Road, Rockville, MD, sponsored by Am Kolel Jewish Renewal Center and will feature workshops, performances, kids’ activities, Israeli dancing, kosher food, artist exhibits, cooking classes, and much more!
The Jewish Folk Arts Festival is a celebration of the talent and diversity of Jewish performing and visual arts in the Greater Washington DC/Baltimore region. The richness of our values, culture and heritage is passed from generation to generation through our singers, writers, dancers, visual artists, storytellers and craftspeople. All performers and workshop presenters donate their time to the festival.
