Outreach Committee
Outreach is our newest committee. It was formed at the Nov 13, 2010 General Membership Meeting. This committee will focus on expanding our publicity and increasing our outreach efforts. The members are Jodi Edwards, Amy Humphries, Paul and Elaine McVinney, Joan Troncoso, Michele Uhler, Madelene Weinberger.
One of their first actions was to revise our congregational tri-fold. Copies of it will soon be on the table in the synagogue foyer. The committee will put copies of the tri-fold in the military chapels in Southern Maryland and Bolling Air Force Base.
Their first outreach program will be the Shabbat Dinner, February 25. The committee would like to send invitations to non-affiliated Jews. You can assist by letting them know about your non-affiliated friends.
