November is here and the leaves are changing colors. What a beautiful time of the year to see G_d’s handy work. Randy and I were up in Altoona, PA celebrating his Aunt Ag’s 100th birthday and the leaves on the mountains were just beautiful. I have to just share the picture of Randy, his sisters Sandy (from Seattle) and Ruth (from Delaware) with Aunt Ag.
Linda Thomas and I took the Food from the Food Drive over to the Children’s Aid Society and they were so thankful. They will be feeding about 200 people for Thanksgiving. Also the food pantry is used every day. Here is a picture of one of the workers with Linda and I.
Now that Winter is coming the Children’s Aid Society needs coats, hats, gloves. They said that they will accept gently used or new coats. If everybody would look into their closets and see if there is a coat that is just hanging there, think about bring it to the synagogue. There will be a BOX for the Children’s Aid Society by the information table for all coats, hats gloves.
Please look at another article in this newsletter about making hats.
