The 2013 Sha’are Shalom Congregation Directory is now in preparation. It will include listings of congregation members and other members of the Jewish community, as well as important information about the Sha’are Shalom Sunday School, a calendar of Jewish holidays, a brief history of the congregation, e-mail addresses, and more.
In addition, the Directory is one of Sha’are Shalom’s major fundraising activities. Everyone can support this valuable effort in two ways: One is to place a personal greeting in the Directory, such as a remembrance of a loved one, share a favorite recipe or send a New Year’s greeting. The other, and most important, is to ask local businesses to place ads in the directory. Past success has shown that this is easy to do. Anyone you do business with is a potential advertiser.
For personal (non-business) ads, the costs are as follows:
• Inside or back cover: $200
• Full page (8″x5″): $150
• Half page (4″x5″): $ 75
• Quarter page (2″x5″): $ 50
• 1/8 page (2″x2.5″): $ 25
For business ads, the costs are:
• Inside or back cover: $250
• Full page: $220
• Half page: $120
• Quarter page: $ 75
• 1/8 page: $ 50
