Mitzvah Catering is no longer a source for the onegs. This year we are asking congregants to volunteer to manage the onegs.
Challah, wine, juice, coffee and tea will be provided. It’s up to the volunteer as to what to provide. Expenses up to $36 will be reimbursed for a Saturday oneg and $25 for a Friday.
It’s best to arrive at least 20 minutes before services to set up the coffee, tea and tables, wine and challah and food.
After services, rinse the dishes, place them in the dishwasher and start it. Wrap up the leftovers. Clean off the tables and sweep the floor. Brush the crumbs off the tablecloth, or a disposable tablecloth will be provided. Put the coffee makers on the kitchen counter. Instructions and guidance will be provided.
We would like to be able to provide an oneg after every service, and we can only do this if we have enough volunteers. Please contact Nancy at [email protected] to sign up. We need volunteers for Friday, Sept. 27 and Friday, Oct 4.
