The snows of early February unfortunately forced us to cancel quite a few of our events, including the very popular Tu B’Shevat seder. However, now that the snows have melted, we’re back on schedule! The last weekend of February we celebrated a special Scout Shabbat and Purim. Both events were very well attended. If you weren’t able to come to these, or chose not to, I hope you’ll consider coming out for one or more of our March events.
Saturday night March 6th is our third Baffle Bowl. It’s a women’s team versus a men’s team in an It’s Academic, Jeopardy-like contest of knowledge and strategy. The women are after their third straight win, having won in 2006 and 2008. If they win again this year, the men have decided to only participate in Baffle Bowls held during odd number years! It’s been a fun event enjoyed by all – except for those of us that are 0 for 2. You can learn more about this event, and others, elsewhere in this newsletter.
