Deli Night on Aug 21was very successful. It was successful as a fundraiser, an activity for the whole congregation, and in terms of outreach. We had 63 people attend, 23 of those were non-Jews from the community.
Desserts and sides were donated by Sandy Blake, Suzanne Darby, Jackie Schoch, and Madelene Weinberger. Thanks to all of you. Several guests said they had a great time and asked if we would have it again.
Many more thanks go to Madelene Weinberger who led the Deli Night event. This was her last event as head of the Women’s Group for the past 12 years. “I want to thank each of you for all the support that you have given me as chair of the Women’s Group. Words cannot express my appreciation. I’m especially moved by the card that Elaine presented me at the Deli Night from all of you.” The





Women’s Group is accepting donations for a plaque to be placed on the Mitzvah Board to honor Madelene.
