Hello to One and All:
Last year the Oxon Hill Bicycle Club gave our congregation a nice donation for manning a rest stop during their century ride. The same offer was made for this year. WOULD YOU BE A VOLUNTEER?
The date is Sunday, Sept. 12 and the location of the rest stop is Riverside (Nanjemoy), MD which is at the end of Rt. 6. It is the last property on the left side, on the water. This is a beautiful location (a best kept secret). The requirements would be greet riders, make sandwiches, etc. from 10am till 3 pm. This rest stop would need 4 people at all times. These riders are doing the 100 mile ride.
