This year our Holocaust Remembrance Program focused on the families of Sha’are Shalom Members that were murdered or directly impacted by the Holocaust. A “Book of Names” was compiled listing the victims, their relation to our Sha’are Shalom member and a short narrative on what happened to each of them. Consider-ing the size of our congregation, it’s amazing that 50 people are listed in our Book of Names. I want to thank the following members for submitting the information: Sandy Blake, Ellen Cohen, Suanne Darby, Nancy Gould, David Kanter and Elaine McVinney. It was an honor for all of those present to hear about your families, and it made the Holocaust Remembrance Program even more memorable to us. THANK YOU!!
