First, I would like to WELCOME HOME Paul McVinney who has been away from us for over a year. We know that Elaine, his wife, is glad to have him home too. Paul is ready to take over his old job here at Congregation Sha’are Shalom as Editor of the Newsletter and Publicity Chair. So thanks Paul.
I also would like to say a big THANK YOU to Robyn Kanter for being our Editor while Paul was away. All your help was greatly appreciated. A big THANK YOU also goes to Madelene Weinberger for being the Publicity Chair while Paul was away. I know being a chair for Membership and Publicity was a lot to ask but thank you for taking on the job.
I want to let you know in case you were not at the Membership Meeting last month that the new Treasurer for next year will be George Gazarek and the Vice President will be Nancy Gould. Also, it was voted on by the membership to fix up and sell Merle Whitt’s townhouse which he left to the synagogue. We will let you know when it goes on the market in case anybody is interested in a 3 bedroom, 2 baths and 1 car garage townhouse.
