Purim Party and Variety Show
Much talent was on display for
Sha’are Shalom’s first variety show to be
held in conjunction with Purim. Thanks to
all the performers:
• Daniel Darby and Dylnn Lane sang ‘Get Higher’
• Jonah Casebeer on trumpet with ‘Stars and Stripes Forever’ by John Philip Sousa and ‘Barber of Seville’ by Gioachino Rossini
• Shelby & Jessie Green on flute & clarinet with ‘Edelweiss’ from The Sound of Music.
• Sha’are Shalom Religious School Junior Choir singing their favorite holiday tunes.
• Mara Casebeer on piano with ‘Haman a Wicked Man’ and on violin with ‘If I Were a Rich Man’
• Eric Richman on viola with ‘Two Grenadiers’
• Nathan Lusby demonstrating his black belt form.
• Mason Casebeer on cornet with‘ Au Clair de Lune’
• Jonie McCright sang ‘I Don’t Know Where To Begin (I’m Sorry)’
• Jessie Green on clarinet with ‘Tradition’ from Fiddler on the Roof
• Linnae Casebeer on piano and flute with Minuet #1 by Bach and Polly Wolly Doodle
• Suzanne Darby provided comic relief by demonstrating kugel making
• Shelby Green on piano with ‘Sonatina in G’ by Beihl
• The Richman family put on a skit
• Daphne & Joan McCright played a duet on flute and guitar with ‘These Boots Are Made for Walking’
• The Lane family sang together
• Sha’are Shalom Players presented an original Purim skit
