I know school is just letting out, but it is also time to think about next school year. Every summer Congregation Sha’are Shalom donates school supplies to the Charles County Children’s Aid Society, and this year’s drive is through July.
We have collected some supplies already, but we need many more; there is a great need for them among the county’s needy schoolchildren.
So if every time you come to the synagogue if you could bring school supplies of any kind, that would be a big help. You can bring anything children can use in school, or you can put money in an envelope and I will do the shopping for you. If you write a check, make it out to Jackie Schoch. I will be taking the supplies over to the Children’s Aid Society at the end of July.
Thank you very much for the supplies and food that have already been donated.
