Over 80 Jews from Southern Maryland from five congregations from different branches met on the shores of the lake in the beautiful Gilbert Run Park setting on Sunday, October 20th as one family and found common ground to celebrate their Jewish connections. Based on the smiles, energy and enthusiasm witnessed yesterday, I’d say this was the first of many such gatherings.
