How the Bulgarian Jews Survived the Holocaust – January 26 | 7:00 p.m. – 8:15 p.m.

In honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Jewish Federation’s Jewish Community Relations Council and AJC Philadelphia/Southern New Jersey invite you to this virtual program to learn about the historical events associated with Bulgaria’s resistance to pressures from Germany during World War II to deport the 50,000 Jews living there. University of Pennsylvania Professor, Dr. Joseph Benatov, will discuss the competing national narratives from this period of time and Judge Ramy Djerassi will reflect on his family’s experience of survival. Click here to register.
