Sha’are Shalom featured in Washington Jewish Week


It all began in 1989 when a group of Jews in Waldorf paged through the phone book, looking for anyone with a Jewish last name to invite to a social gathering. Fast forward 22 years, that social gathering has been transformed into Congregation Sha’are Shalom, a 38-member congregation that continues to spread Jewish life in Southern Maryland.
