FROM OUR PRESIDENT:
re: SECURITY BREIFING
I spoke to the Charles County Sheriff Deputy in charge of the security briefing today. As of today, 14 Nov, we have about 10 in house and 3 or 4 Zoom participants. For them that was a pretty small group, but they could do something for us if we could work out the logistics. I asked for 5 or 6 Dec at 7PM. They would prefer in the afternoon if possible and maybe after all the holidays. Sgt McCue then suggested they could prepare a package for us with hints, suggestions, graphics & reminders, etc., so we could send it out to all our members and they could look at it at their leisure. Currently that sounds good to me, but I have not committed to anything yet, including scheduling a date for a live presentation. I am asking for input from our members on how they feel. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with your opinions and thoughts.

Dates Available for Oneg Sponsors
Shar’are Shalom each Saturday morning (every 2nd Saturday) and Friday night (every 4th Friday) service at the temple ends with the pleasure of fellowship. A little nosh usually makes this fellowship last longer and adds to its delightfulness. Each post service nosh or oneg requires an Oneg Sponsor. Whether it is wine, juice, a challah, and some cookies, or even more – it is always appreciated by those in attendance.
Current oneg openings:
Friday, Nov 24 for 8pm services
Saturday, Dec 9 for 10am services
Friday, Dec 22 for 8pm services
Contact Mike Green, VP, at email@example.com or (240) 210-1064 (text or call and please leave a message if I don’t answer) if you would like to sponsor an oneg or lead a Friday Night Service or have any questions about doing either.
